Small Groups
What is the purpose of a Small Group?
We use words like community and small group to describe what we read in Acts 2:42-47. Those that went to the very first church developed relationships with each other that helped them grow in their understanding of God and what it means to be in a relationship with Him.
At Antioch, we believe the same thing. We want each person to develop relationships with other people, become friends, and discover together what it means to be a follower of Christ. These small settings are the best places for this to happen. Our Sunday morning services are great, but the Bible really comes alive in a small group where you can talk about it and begin to apply it to your life. By “living life together” you are able to encourage those in your group as well as offer support when life gets tough, visit them when they’re in the hospital and share in the joy of graduations, births, and new jobs.
